Sorry to burst everyones bubbles, but this axolotl most likely died. They are not suppose to be kept on gravel because they will eat it. When they eat it, it blocks their digestive system. After a few days they will die. I keep axolotls, and yes they are cute, but if you get one please do your research. I love these guys to death, but a lot of them die because of owners who don't know what theyre doing. Please don't take offense, I just want to prevent these guys from dying due to simple gravel.
